He is survived by his sons Gregory (Jayne) of Sheffield Lake, Kenneth (Maggie Bridge) of Spencer, Michael of Brunswick, and daughter Deborah (Smith) of Avon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Karen in 2021. Loved her furbabies Mamoa & Zelda and her granddogs Dioji & Gus dearly. A career decision as an Electrician at U.S. Steel served him and his family well and was enjoyed. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, January 21 at 2pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Philip K. Gilbert, 80 of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Carole is proceeded in death by her beloved parents, Anthony and Alice Tobicash; her brother, Anthony Tobicash; and sister, Sally Sans. He was a loving husband, father and son. He was a man who was very passionate about his job, enjoyed fishing, and loved watching DVDs and documentaries. He is survived by his children, Dallas, Jr. (Sandy), Drew (Shelly, deceased), and Dawn Roberts (Ben, deceased); grandchildren, Stacey Mahnke, Michelle Whitler, Nicole Yonkof, Jennifer Spevock, David Swearns, Ronald Swearns, and Samantha Garcia; great grandchildren, Natalee, Isabel, Matthew, Trace, Ava, Gavin, Layla, Cadin, and Jacob; and sisters, Archidean Beecham, and Hester Moran.
